We are proud to work with SSPC Train the painter, the international market leader in coating applicator training and certification. The programme is accredited internationally by Lloyds Register and authorised by the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC). The scheme has been developed by industry experts and provides operatives working on road, rail, nuclear, marine, and oil and gas with vital training. The training has been developed by industry experts in response to the strong demand for certification within the industrial coatings industry that now requires personnel working within the road, rail, renewables and oil and gas industries to obtain professional specified certification.
SSPC Train the Painter has three modules:
- Protective Coatings Applicator
- Abrasive Blast Cleaner
- Spray Painter
Delegates will be awarded either an Orange, Bronze, Silver or Gold card depending on the modules completed and experience gained in the protective coatings industry.

PROTECTIVE COATINGS APPLICATOR (BRONZE)
Our popular Protective Coating Application course will be delivered across four days at both CryoGen Academies.

This course will be run on the following dates:
5th – 8th October
19th – 22nd October
26th – 29th October
On completion of Train the Painter protective Coatings Applicator module (Bronze Card) you will fully understand surface treatment techniques and the application of protective coatings.
You must be at least 18 years old to attend this course.
